How We Can Help

I have been a Christian counselor in the Baton Rouge and Prairieville, Louisiana area for almost ten years since leaving the corporate business world. I completed my internship with Murphy Toerner and Associates and was on staff with River Community Church as Executive Director and led the counseling ministry. I earned my licensure in 2006 and founded CrossRoads Professional Counseling.

It is my passion to come along side of people and help them to heal from the difficulties they face in life. But, it is just as important to me that people continue to grow to live the life God planned for them.

This is one of the unique aspects of CrossRoads Professional Counseling. We are here to help with a variety of counseling services including marriage counseling, individual counseling and family counseling. You can learn more about our areas of expertise on the Services Page. However, we also offer life coaching in the areas of marriage, individual and career goals.

I always found it daunting to have to find a new counselor or coach throughout my life. I felt I was having to start over with all of the background, and sometimes baggage, of my past. One of the benefits of Crossroads Professional Counseling is that we strive to be with you on the entire journey. We want to help you deal with real crisis and mental health issues. And hopefully, stay a part of your family to continue offering guidance, encouragement and prayer in areas of goal attainment, change management, and growth and development.

The Crossroads We Encounter is our blog that focuses on topics regarding positive and negative crossroads that we come across in our life. We try to provide insight, resources, and healing through these posts.

We write about spiritual and life crossroads. Things like fear, stress, depression, marriage problems, career issues and a variety of the everyday life issues that sometimes take us off course. We are Christian counselors so most posts will touch on faith and biblical wisdom along with counseling and coaching tools and resources.

Our goal is to provide a Christian perspective to the realities of life.
