I came across this site this morning, life edited. (She doesn’t capitalize the letters.) She has a post called “conversations with God”. I wanted to share it. I know I have had this same conversation many times. I think it is very comforting and healing. She is sharing her conversations with our God who loves us in spite of ourselves! I am a failure and a disappointment.
You are forgiven and treasured.
I want to ask for help but I am too ashamed.
Come to me and I will give you rest.
I am a mess. Look at me.
I see every part of you and I see beauty.
You don’t really see me.
I see even what you hide from yourself. I love you.
If you really saw me you would turn away. You would have no choice.
