Maybe you’d like to move into the life you’ve always wanted but are unsure of how to get there.
Maybe you’d like to address chronic mood problems such as anxiety, depression or bipolar.
Maybe you’re ready to overcome problems that seem to plague you in relating to others.
Whatever your “why” is, the process of individual therapy can maximize your efforts, empower and direct you to achieve your goals.
At Crossroads Professional Counseling, we are with you through life’s journeys.
Where would you like to go?
Individual therapy starts off with a few sessions of assessment, where we will get to know each other, understand where you are and envision where you’d like to go. This is Phase One of therapy, where we take a thorough history of your life, define your goals, and discuss which treatment model works best for you.
Phase Two of therapy is what you think of when you picture, “going to therapy.” This is where we do the work of therapy: gain new insights and learn new skills, process negative experiences all while progressing toward your goals. The length of this stage varies based on your stated goals that we came up with in Phase One. This is where we spend the bulk of our time together.
Phase Three of therapy is where we make a plan for maintenance of your growth. Some clients enjoy the therapy relationship to where they move into a maintenance schedule. Others discontinue counseling until another issue arises that needs therapeutic attention. You and your therapist will pick a path forward that works best for you!

How do we handle payment?
Payment is due at time of service. While you have the option of paying cash, most clients keep a credit card on file which is automatically charged each session. Sessions canceled with more than 24 hours notice are canceled with no fee. Sessions canceled within 24 hours of our session time will be charged your therapist’s full session fee.
